Ham Friendly Hotel - Farm Heimat
The following was submitted by Tom, SP5UAF who visited on 03/05
Web Site: http://www.natron.net/tour/heimat/index.html
Farm Heimat is a place located near Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. It is a
HAM-friendly place. Janusz SP6IXF operated from there in 2002. Also DL2SL
operated from there. Janusz SP6IXF and Przemek SP7VC are just going there: you
can find information about their DXpedition at http://www.sp5zcc.waw.pl/dxpeditions/v5/.
There are two bungalows for visitors at Farm Heimat. There is also a tower
(ready to place an antenna) built some years ago by DL2SL.
You can contact the owners of the place. Details can be found at http://www.natron.net/tour/heimat/index.html.
As far as I know it is necessary to write in German.
