I've transmitted from a camper, located along the shore, for entering and parking in Monaco,  you would ask for assistance to Mr.  Christian, who works in Monaco radio  www.monaco-radio.com. Contact also mr. Bertholier (direction du controle des concessions et des telecommunications de la principautè de Monaco) tel. +377.9315.8800, fax. +377.9798.5657, in advance. Good Pile-up.

Ham Friendly Hotel: Hotel Helvetia. OK to put antenna on the roof, and get the room directly underneath it. Potential problem with TVI from next door neighbor - and the neighbor is a ham! Visit the hotel web site at: http://www.monte-carlo.mc/helvetia/

Stefano, IW5BZQ (6 Mar 01) & Wade, AA8LL (20 April 01) , report that the Hotel Helvetia is no longer welcoming hams since previous antenna installations have caused damage to the roof.   Looks like we’ll have to find another location…

The following Email provided by Stefano from the hotel:

From: "Hotel Helvetia" <hotel-helvetia@monte-carlo.mc>
To: "Stefano Mannelli" <mannelli@dada.it>

Bonjour,
Meilleures salutations.
